Hi. I had an emergency c section. after about two hours of painful pushing. It was horrible. the cord was wrapped around the baby and she was stuck in my pelvic bone. so I had to have the c section. I didn't really want it. I always had a fear of being cut into. but anyway. It wasn't so bad. I was scared, but they do let you see the baby right when it comes out. they give it to you to hold for a minute, then they take it to clean it up and run some tests. I was a little drugged up afterwards for about an hour. but within a half hour, they brought the baby back to my room and I got to hold her. You should be able to feed the baby within the couple hours after your surgery, I believe. Just to warn you though, is that it does really hurt after the surgery. You will be so sore and aching, it will hurt to move at all, or try to get out of bed or anything. so, you can hold the baby, but you probably won't be able to really do alot of stuff with her, such as changing her diaper, and feeding her on your own, because you cant really move around alot after a c section because of the pain. but its ok. you can still hold her and be there with her, but just let the nurses help you and take her to the nursery when you have to sleep and rest. you need all the rest you can get. it will be ok though. good luck to you.

"dirt" dessert?

My family has always made it the vanilla/cream cheese/whipped cream way. This recipe makes the filling stiffer (easier to dip out) and keeps from a chocolate overload. Well you could base your project on your memories you have of you and your grandfather and memories you have from when you were a child. i would fill pages with a lot of photographs and then do some drawings from those photo's. if you done this you would also have a memorial sort of thing of your grandfather. I did GCSE art and i wouldn't advise you change your topic now because the work load in the final week is hectic cause you always need pages fixed up. for your final piece you could make a blanket of pictures of your and grandfather and some of you when you were a child and you could also sew on some of your own drawings.

I'm interested in owning a sugar glider OR hedgehog as a pet. I'm leaning towards sugar gliders, currently, but I'm not sure. I have anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours of free time every weeknight, and virtually all day on the weekends. I'd like something that is cuddly (I've heard mixed opinions on hedgehogs being cuddly or not) and that is not too much of a hle to feed (which I've heard sugar gliders are notorious for). I feel like i am living in a dream world. it dont seems to be living in a life i was living 2 years before when every thing was relaxed and sleep was normal,life was happy and good and relaxed. it happened in a sudden way when i was 16 in summer when i was really happy by having being ped in the examinations(which i wasnt expecting) but as my holidays went on i planned to go have some weight lifting.At the very first day i exercised beyond normal and lifted the weight in a wrong way(well i didnt knew that time much so lifted in a odd manner life holding the weight in air for about 2 to three minutes and then with a sudden lettiing it down.i did this at the time of my extreme stamina limit.then while i come up to have a cup of tea i figured out that i m having difficulting in holding the cup and felt pain in left hand. and felt like i cant move my left hand to full extend. Well i felt happy that having exercise had some result at that night when i slept had a terrible pain in my neck shoulders. I thing its normal pain when u lift the wieght but then it continued for days then i become really tensed as my neck also was stiff and decided to visit a local doctor So my doctor told me that its nothing that too big it will just go on in a week or so and he gave me some medicine. i ate those medicine for a week but still then i cant move my left hand.So i went to specialist opto doctor who gave me medicines and told me to come in a week. So in a week or so i felt change and my arm started moving to a more extend than before but still not full recovery.After a week i went to that doctor again and told him that i feel better than before but not full recovery doctor again gave me some medicines which i took for about week or so and felt no change than before but 1 thing i felt at those interval is that the effect of my arm has started coming on my hand and i felt that my hand had started showing lower flexibility than before. So in a very sad mood next appointment i told doctor "o my god its like my hand is gonna be less flexibly than before as the time will go on. And in a lot of worry he checked my hand and arm movement and told me its look like its something very serious problem with.I m giving u those strong medicines. take it and if still it dont go u have to do a mri of spine. and then i took those medicine a a large quantity at 1 time i took about lots of type of medicine and i felt its side effect so much that i felt my mood changing and headache feeling and depression feeling dizzy etc. well i cant tell how much pain i felt by those medicine and by that interval tha whole story starts. I felt like I have heavy head, feeling like living in dream world,always showing anger and feeling frustrated,hopless,tensed like the thing called relaxation has left my life. I called the doctor and told those feeling he told me i will talk it at the next appoinment which i gave u.But as i was frustrated to hell. i never went to doctor and abondoned those medicines.then went to another doctor and told him the same story that the doctor has ruined instead of figuring a solution he should not be giving me medicine who could have a permanent side effect i m feeling now.but doctor saw my medicines and said i dont think much it is cauzed by those medicines. and he checked my spine etc and told its normal u dont have spine problem.etc he gave me medicine for hand etc. he said it will go naturally by time and that the headache may probabaly cauzed by bad eyesight. the hand went to better position to time. But i didnt felt that much change as by those before medincines it had been better.but the hand remained mostly the same especially the left hand . and i feel like stiff neck alll the time, pressure in head and like its gonna burst. i went to see eye doctor i had very little prescription. but it was in 0.25 sth.but again with gles i felt the same even for wearing it for long time. i went to neurologist then took his medicines and nothing happened he also refered me ct scan at end he said u r normal.then 2 years of 24 hours pain feeling headache in sleep etc. i went to phyrist had anxitey depression pills but again nothing happened.omg. now i m feeling like wut to do where r those good years.i just need relaxation. which i always dreamed of when wake up. Actually, if your recruiter is telling you that they match you, its wrong. UNLESS thats one of you enlistment bonuses. I know they match our civilians up to 5%. I just taught a cl on this last week. if you are active duty military, your best bet is to first start of with an IRA. There are 2 types of IRA's. One is a traditional, and the other is called a Roth. The difference between them is the tax that you will pay. Also, your only allowed to put in a certain percent of your base pay into the tsp. They amount allowed per yr in a ira, just went up to 4,000 a yr. max. So first do the IRA, and if you have extra money left over every month, then do the tsp. And with a ira you can take/ borrow money from it. When you get out, you should be able to use your v.a loan to get a house. Never jump into what a recruiter says, go to your bank, and ask about ira's. I hope this helped....good luck!

I also have to disagree. When my dog goes to the dog park and his buddies arrive, he is the first one down by the gate waiting to greet them when they come in. Once inside the park, both dogs usually are jumping, whining, and barking at each other as they romp around together. I think that they do indeed greet each other with affection.

Tonite on my way home from school, I hit a dog. The highway is super dark at night. hmmm As far as i know, even if he damaged his facial muscles, it wouldnt be such a big problem. Because even if muscles are damaged they can regenerate because of the presence of primitive muscle cells called satellite cells that can mature to form muscle fibers. So as long as he didnt keep cutting himself and wasting satellite cells, his muscles would regenerate and form fibers after 15 days...so im guessing it wouldnt take that much longer to regain function.

Sick ragdoll kitten...help me decide what to do!!?

I have been offered a 20 week old ragdoll kitten but the lady giving her away says she has a runny nose and eyes. She has had one set of shots and she doesnt know whats wrong with this kitten. I have two very healthy cats...a Devon Rex and a Ragdoll...all current on vacc's and happy healthy girls. I know if I take this kitten she will need to see a vet long before I bring her home...IF I even go through with this. What ever happened to the student I used to be?

For several years I was the teacher's pet, but not intentionally. I don't mean to sound vein when I say this, but I always had all of the answers right off of the top of my head, and never even had to search for them. I had a gift, and all of my teachers and family members were in awe of it. By age seven, I could literally outsmart many adults. I was always frustrated by B's. The day that I somehow wound up with a C on my report card back in second grade, I actually cried about it. I did all of my homework, got A's on tests, and literally never even studied for a test until seventh grade. I made it to gifted cles. I procrastinated on my homework, and although that was a bad habit that would come back to hinder me later, I always found a way to get it done and get it done well. Other students made fun of me relentlessly, and I was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder. But it was okay. Why would I want to ociate with students who are mean to me? They were jealous of my position with the teachers and wanted the gifts I had. I kept telling myself that this was the problem, and when we would grow up, I would get the last laugh. My parents' marriage was a disaster, my family was screwed up in general, I saw things that no child should see. Looking back, my whole situation reminds me of the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. Even through my parents' divorce, I still remained the hard worker that I was. Every teacher I ever had called me the hardest worker. I did do all of my homework, but that was it. Little did they know, I didn't need to try. It came naturally. Let's fast forward quite a few years. You see a student who has only missed A-B honor roll three times in his life and has a wealth of straight A's as well. He's primed to take even more honors cles and continue to suceed in them. However, he is at a school where he knows maybe 15 % of the students from years back and has a bad reputation around them. But he's changed. He won't get laughed at. Right... He got along fine with his new clmates, and looked to be developing a good status among his peers. Until the 15 % he knew before acted. They did not see the way he was now. Somehow, they saw the absolute nerd whom they had taunted incessantly, and were eager to get back to their taunting. They hadn't gotten to do so since elementary. His social status was THROTTLED. Missing the school at which he had acheived well educationally and could walk through without fear at the same time, his grades could no longer hold up. They were pretty good for two grading periods, then BANG! The bottom fell out. He began getting C's with a vengeance, and by the end of the year, got his first D. Sad moment for a student who had only gotten three C's in his entire life. He didn't do homework. Somehow, he still aced tests and proved his potential, but he just didn't have it anymore. No more educational acheivements and not even a decent social status to compensate for that. The kids in his honors cles found him stupid, even though on state tests he could still get the highest in the school. But his teachers saw potential, and in Honors English (the only cl anyone can be kicked out of in the middle of the year), despite his mediocre performance, his teacher kept him in it for the whole year when he should have been gone months earlier. She just saw too much potential and couldn't stop giving him second chances. He never improved. I made it back to all of my classes the next year, somehow remaining in Honors English, and although I improved, I still could have done far better. I made a vow to try my best in English to make sure my teacher's decision was a good one, and I stuck to it. I became a virtual English genius and outsmart my teacher on a daily basis. Although I struggled in a more advanced level of math with an effort that just didn't cut it for that level, with poor grades, I somehow passed the final, and made it back to all of my classes again this year. It's my third year back at this school, and I have some very good friends, and that's enough for me. But it's like my motivation has just been squeezed out of me. I've been alright, but I just got my report card, and upon seeing my three C's and three A's, I just wonder what happened. People come to me for all kinds of school questions, but I don't prove any of it on my assignments. In Spanish I got a 93% - by getting a 77 homework grade and a whopping 100 test grade and participation grade. I really want to get back on track and was hoping you guys could motivate me to actually make an effort. I just don't have it in me anymore. My life events have finally caught up to me, and I've dug myself into a hole. I don't know what's wrong now, but I'm still not back to old form. Thanks.

The Papacy regularly comes out with letters such as this descrying abuses within the church, but they really are just meaningless words. Nothing is ever really done about it. A priest may occasionally be forced to resign (or whatever the word is that they use for that) - but for the most part, like I said, nothing is done about it really. Such abuse(s) will continue to happen - which in fact really surprises me - since priests are supposed to have high moral standards (at least that's what I thought until all these scandals have come to light).

yea so i got a pretty sucky relationship with my mom. I swear she hates me. like 80% of the time shes yelling at me. If i have friends over she'll talk to my friends and be like "yea i wish sarah was like you. I wish sarah did that" and shes always telling me all these things she wishes i would change. What could be causing my shoulder/arm pain?

I was in a car accident 6 years ago. My shoulder/arm pain started shortly after, I have had xrays, ct's, mri's, physical therapy, cortisone shots and have been on pain meds on and off. all the tests show that nothing major is wrong. Doctors have said it was soft tissue damage, bursitis, arthritis, a bone spur and treated with narcotics, antinflamatories, as well as cortisone and lidocaine shots. The pain is still there. I have done 3 rounds of physical therapy and i get some range of motion back but it ends up going right back to it being difficult to even carry a gallon of milk with my arm without pain. I was told today by my doctor that they are thinking i'm getting too dependant on the narcotic pain meds. Sadly these are the only thing that will help the pain subside and let me get on with normal day activities or sleep. I am out of ideas, i feel like all the doctor thinks is that i'm a druggie who is addicted to narcotics. please if you have any ideas of other tests i can do, or what my pain could be please let me know. I'm out of ideas and so down. I am not a addict, i am a person in pain. and I know sometimes withdrawl from narcotics could be muscle and joint pain, but the only thing that hurts is that same arm. Please if anyone can help!!!!

My boyfriend's friends hate me...what should i do about it?
