My guy mate has neglected me....?

i have known my guy mate for about a whole skl year now and i was beginning to get feelings for him because he was teasing me and flirting with me at skl for a long time so i told him i liked him subtly on msn because we talk like everyday after skl together. His reaction was ' why wouldnt i like you?' so i just thought he wanted to be friends and i accepted that and now its has become sooo awkward at skl he gardly ever talks to me or teases me anymore and i really miss that. he's being an ******** at the moment and dont know what i should do? what was he trying to say? and did he like me? when he does go on msn he goes off quickly and hardly ever talks anymore. what shall i do?
