License suspension due to DUI - alternate state?
Okay, this story is a bit complicated. As you know, when you get a DUI, you have a seperate hearing for criminal and DMV (to lose your license) ... I had my DMV hearing first and won my case, but was informed if I lose my case in criminal court they will still suspend my license. My criminal hearing is coming up, and it's likely I'm going to lose and be convicted. Due to a series of events, my hearing has been delayed and delayed (the DUI occurred in August) and I have sense moved out of state, and subsequently obtained a license from another state. My question is, when I am found guilty in criminal court, and my home state goes to revoke my license, will they be able to revoke my now-out-of-state license?
